Art School EASTWOOD
This session is usually followed by morning tea that is provided for children and adults and some free playtime! The classes offer fun and valuable art instructions with fully qualified and trained teachers. Programs are designed to cater for a range of ability/age groups. The School is committed to providing high quality vocational education and training programs.
Trish recently completed a classical performance degree at AIM, majoring in Clarinet. She has been actively involved in various art class near Eastwood orchestras and bands for quite some time. Trish has also been heavily involved in the orchestras and ensembles at AIM.
Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Carers with their pre-school children get together to have fun playing, doing craft, singing and enjoying morning tea together. Meet other parents and share experiences, play and learn with your child, and discover other services and support in your community. Thanks to our wide variety of experienced artisans and makers, children can indulge in crafting experiences from all over the world.
Aside from teaching, Daniel currently works as a professional guitarist in both session work and performances. He is currently working on a contemporary group with a new line up of musicians. The test is designed to give us a clear indication of the skills, experience, and strengths of your child.
Instead of simply playing video games, they can design and creative their own video games. When kids code, they take complex problems and break them down into smaller parts. Kids learn what it’s like to approach a problem with logical and computational thinking. This logical thinking is a powerful tool in school, work, and life.
As a student you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, upgrade existing skills and obtain Nationally Recognised Qualifications. The School offers a range of professional development courses and registered training at Certificate and Diploma levels. In creative arts, students discover a variety of art forms through a study of dance, drama, music and visual arts where they learn to appreciate, compose, listen, make and perform.
Eastwood Art School is a place to experience and explore the fun of Art and the long forgotten joy that comes with that experience. Each art form has its own unique knowledge and skills, elements or concepts as well as a capacity to inspire and enrich lives. Presented with artists Emmanuel Asante, Marietta Zafirakos and Elaine Butler. Make your favourite animals into a silly sculpture with paper plates, make your mark on a collaborative artwork, decorate and design a t-shirt for yourself or a loved one and go wild with chalk drawing. Pop in to The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre to get creative, try something new, and have fun together as a family. One-off Saturdays are back as Patrice is joined by Saqlain Binte Saleh for a weekend in the studio.
He wrote numerous pieces with solo piano, string quartets, saxophone octet, carillon and orchestra to name just a few. Ben has been on 2 long-term trips overseas twice; once to New Zealand and once to Japan where he taught English lessons. At KE Academy, every child’s learning experience is unique. Students are taught the basics first and once the basics are formed, everyday phrases that are necessary to form a general conversation in the country are taught. Reading and writing in these languages are also taught as they are important as learning how to speak in these languages. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for art and education, or for an existing business looking to expand their portfolio.
Debating and public speaking workshops designed to help students learn valuable life skills and build self confidence at a safe, informative and enjoyable school holiday workshop. A fun playgroup for learning and having fun through music. Morning tea for kids and adults is provided and ends with free play every week. The group is currently full but is accepting people for the waiting list. $8 per session (2nd child only charged when they are over 18 months old).
