Mystery Trails have trails in each county of Ireland. This Trail is a 3 km circular route with minor gradient hills and no steps. Participants are sent to their desired address a printed full colour booklet, which outlines the trail and the clues you may need to find. As a large group of churches we are indebted to their faithful years of service among us. Both Peter and Ruth regularly did 2 or 3 services most weeks, and Ruth played the organ as well. Peter was also celebrating 40 years in ministry across the country. Bishop Ferran Glenfield preached at the service and Rector, Rev Linda Frost conducted the service and thanked Peter and Ruth for their help and support during her time in the group. She pointed out the important part lay readers play in keeping all our churches open and services running each week. The experience promises to be fully immersive and invites visitors to embark on a ‘Curious Journey of Discovery’.
The River Mania water adventure centre is located next to the marina and provides for a number of water sports including Canoeing, Kayaking, River Expeditions and Rafting. They cater for families, groups and individuals however classes must be pre-booked. The centre guarantees and fun time for all participants and your expert friendly instructors are renowned in the region and attract visitors from all over Ireland. They provide an experience that should definitely be taken advantage off. The lady that booked us in was professional but a bit cold and short.
