Cheap Taitung City Deals, Taiwan

Last year we went to Japan and stayed right in the centre of Shibuya. Convenient but hard to walk around, especially with pram, due to the crowds. Maybe try and keep your time in Taipei minimal this time since you've already been before.
Hostels and hotels were inexpensive and quite good. We left at about 8am and arrived at the hotel here in 台東蛋捲 Kaohsiung City about 6pm. Much of the coastline, forestry and scenery of southern Taiwan is beautiful.

We were encouraged to ‘adopt a local’  and wander to explore the village, the local school and surrounds, to acquire an insight into the intricacies of a Solomon Islands village life. Being Sunday the elders gathered the church choir to offer a farewell presentation in the church. On arrival a number of us noted that villagers appeared to be very shy, with some of us employing drastic measures to engage and entertain from magic tricks to painting nails.
Our guide Eric showed us educational videos which were helpful for me to better appreciate the history of the sites we visited. I would definitely recommend this tour for a good overview of the country at a reasonable price. The tour guide Alan Chou was professional, kind and funny. However, it would be nice if we can spent more time in other interesting places in Kaohsiung. God light temple is nice but half day seems a bit too long.

Sometimes there is a bit of walk when connecting from one line  to another so just follow the signs. If you are in a party of 3-5, consider taking a taxi instead as this may workout cheaper than your MRT fares combined. The advantage of a taxi is you will save time and effort as well.
Parts of Taiwan became increasingly integrated into the Qing empire. Following the First Sino-Japanese War in 1895, the Qing ceded the island, to Japan. Japan ruled Taiwan for 50 years from 1895 to 1945 at which point the Kuomintang , took control of Taiwan. The KMT ruled Taiwan as a single-party state for forty years, until democratic reforms in the 1980s, which led to the first-ever direct presidential election in 1996.
Taiwan has a history going back thousands of years. The Taiwanese indigenous peoples or formerly Taiwanese aborigines, Formosan people, Austronesian Taiwanese or Gāoshān people, are the indigenous peoples who number almost about 800,000 or 4% of the island’s population. On site is also Oxford College, funded in large part by contributions from the residents of Oxford County in Ontario, Canada in 1882.

Through these activities, visitors to Taitung will enjoy the romantic starry sky of Taitung while celebrating sustainability and polishing Taitung's sustainable tourism. We were glad to be in a mask wearing community, particularly in crowded markets and public transport. Restaurants and department stores accept credit cards. The only sensible way is by car , which will still take pretty much half of your day, and from what I found the route could be quite dangerous for a first timer as some section of the road will be 1.5 lanes.
In addition to countless international and regional stores and eateries, Suzhou Center boasts an Olympic-size ice rink, children’s theme park, a snowboarding simulator, children’s pony rides and more. Carton King has a few locations in Taiwan, but the one located in the Beitun District of Taichung is the largest. Carton King is a perfect result out of the sheer popularity of these paper-made products, where snacks, hot pots, afternoon tea and set menus are served.
