We tailor our program to meet the individual needs of every child, working closely with families, educators, and support professionals. Through ongoing communication, feedback forms, and regular meetings, we ensure each child’s strengths and challenges are understood and supported. Our Government-approved Kindergarten program helps children develop the confidence and skills they need for a successful transition to school. Throughout my career, I’ve held various roles, including Inclusion Support, Assistant Educator, Lead Educator, Sustainability Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Centre Manager, and now Centre Manager. My passion for early education stems from the opportunity to be creative, make a meaningful impact, and build strong community relationships.
Sessional kindergarten is a standalone program that usually runs for 15 hours a week during school terms. If a centre is full, our Family Support team will place your child on our waitlist. I began my early childhood career in 1990 while completing my Diploma in Child Care and have worked in senior educator and leadership roles for over 20 years, becoming a Centre Manager in 2000. As part of our commitment to fostering healthy habits and a love for fresh food, all Story House services have introduced the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program (SAKGP). This hands-on initiative connects children with growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing fresh, seasonal food. Our experienced and caring educators ensure every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
