Oakleigh East features four outdoor play areas with a wooden cubby house, herb and vegetable gardens, fruit trees and pet bunnies, along with Mandarin lessons. The Centre’s herb and vegetable gardens are the perfect places to see our multi-age learning approach in action. Mentone West is the larger Centre, spacious and modern with lots of early learning oakleigh south natural light and a welcoming, friendly environment.

Our wellbeing policies outline the measures and strategies we have in place to support, promote and maintain the safety and wellbeing of our students. Rocketeers by Camp Australia is a space for children to escape the ordinary and experience the extraordinary during their school holidays. Every school holiday break is a new mission for children to embark upon.
A Compliance & Administration Fee of $ will be applied to your account when you receive a statement for care. It applies only in weeks where you have bookings and receive a statement. The fee will not be charged for those customers receiving the Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) or those billed via a third-party arrangement. No matter the cancellation rules, we operate a standing policy that there is no charge for a sick child.

To BE Me is our exclusive learning program designed for each age & stage of a child's first years, tailored to their age, interests & strengths. Their pathway is personalised, with every milestone captured to makes the link between play & learning clear & memorable.
Through a stimulating play-based program and intentional teaching practices, we aim to equip children with essential skills, deep understanding, positive learning dispositions, social and cultural competence, and emotional wellbeing. Located on Centre Road, our long day care centre provides a convenient stop for families on the way to work. Our beautiful, purpose-built childcare centre also has plenty of onsite car parking for easy drop-offs and pick-ups.

Child and Family Hubs are valuable in improving the accessibility, quality and integration of early childhood services. The Oakleigh South Child and Family Hub provides many services to support the development and wellbeing of Monash's youngest residents and their families. Constructed by Simbuilt, Oakleigh South brings together a range of professional services to let families build ongoing relationships with maternal and child health services, playgroup facilitators and kindergarten educators under the one roof. If children would like to, or need to, there’s an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. If children don’t need to rest, our Flying Start to School learning program continues, where they can enjoy our outdoor space – this might include playing games in a group or working together on a construction project.

Utilising our DfMA experience XLAM ensured that the CLT panels were produced with 100% accuracy. We then applied our logistics expertise to sequence, despatch and deliver the panels to site. Consisting of eight individual age-based educational rooms, a parents’ retreat, reception, office area, as well as a full commercial kitchen and laundry, the centre required approximately 310m3 of XLAM CLT for the walls and roof structure.

Our daily rates are all inclusive and have no additional charges for incursions / excursions or any of our learning programs. The rates shown are an estimate based on using Childcare Subsidy (CCS) subsidised hours. The CCS helps lower your out-of-pocket costs, with subsidy rates dependant on your individual family eligibility levels.
We built an integrated children’s centre for the Oakleigh South Child and Family Hub. As well as providing a new kindergarten, the centre offers maternal and children’s health services for local families and a multi-purpose room for the local community. Welcome to Our Kids, we are childcare services provide quality care and learning experiences for children from 6 months to 6 years old.
We will talk to you about what’s important for the day and what happened overnight, helping us support your child’s individual needs. Children can enjoy learning experiences with children of different ages at drop off time – we call this family grouping. Our centre has been designed to serve the Oakleigh South community with high-quality childcare and early education services, all aimed at supporting children on their learning journeys.
