Young Artists is a visual arts school that has been based in Castle Hill of the Sydney Hills District for 15 years. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a passion for making art fun and accessible, Lucy founded SIW to create a space where creativity feels joyful and pressure-free. I attended this resin art class with a group of people and we all had such a great experience. The teachers are so supportive and encouraging and give you a lot of attention and advice throughout the class. This workshop will cover the the basics of weaving techniques on a small loom. You will learn how the warp up your loom and get started on your weaving Journey. This is the perfect opportunity to learn the fundamentals of clay hand building. You will learn mark making and blending colours creating your own work from the garden, using your newly acquired skills with confidence.
Tammy Worth Academy is a great dance school with absolutely amazing teachers and a very approachable and caring director (a rare find!). Every student is looked after and taught so very well, without any biases. Teachers are invested in the dancing journey of their students and take personal interest in their success. All this comes from a parent who has experienced several dance schools before finding TWA, so it really is true.
Everyone encourages and supports each other and they are challenged to dance to their full potential. The end of year concert is an excellent showcase of the students work throughout the year. We regularly display student work on our gallery page and encourage students to exhibit what they’ve created, not just to show their progress, but to celebrate their creativity and effort.
