I recently purchased a caged box trailer from Trailers Direct, and the whole process was very pleasant and seamless. Each team member I dealt with was very kind, helpful and patient with my questions. They were able to arrange registration there and then. We bought a 7 x 5 heavy duty tip trailer. We did check a couple of trailer businesses for prices, and Trailers Direct were the best value for money. Price included rego and was quite a few hundred dollars cheaper.
Have procured a few Trailers from Trailer Direct, they have always been polite and have delivered exactly what was asked for. Great prices and fast turn around. The trailer is full of sharp galvanising and welds and has many offset joints (especiallyin the 8x5 enclosed trailer cage). There is also much weld splatter and the like not cleaned up before galv was put on.It has many rub/exposed metal points (the owner gave us some galvanising paint to resolve). We paid about $3200 and we very happy with the price given that everywhere else wanted between $6k and $7.5k for the same.

Trailers Direct is well worth a look, if you are in the market for a trailer. They had the trailer we wanted in stock and had all the paperwork for rego etc. ready when we arrived. The trailer is built well and is better than others I had viewed. What a wonderful experience going to trailers direct and dealing with Bruce. The trailer I was sold was perfect for what I need, Bruce did some wiring and sorted everything out in a flash.
The only hassle I have had is the jockey wheel pins for the handle sometimes don’t line up with the holes. The only other suggestion I have is, with the canvas cover option. So i have put removable pins and a rubber strip to stop rattle. I still believe the best trailer around.
Mike is definitely an asset to the company along with the guys that built my trailer. Its not often I come across a company that has competant employees who actually care about the work they do. I’ve had two trailers built by Trailers Direct. I’ve dealt with both Bruce on the Gold Coast and Mike on the Sunshine Coast.
