Quality Childcare Pakenhams
We’re proud to be the only early learning provider certified three times as a Great Place to Work and named as one of Australia’s Best Workplaces. We’ve been recognised for our commitment to wellbeing, inclusion, and innovation because creating inspiring environments starts with creating an inspiring workplace. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, Creative Garden is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children.
It’s designed to make your search for child care, kindergarten and preschool as easy as possible. The 4/5 year old Discovery Program is a government-recognised kindergarten program. As part of the program, children join the Early Explorers (bush kinder) spend three hours of uninterrupted play on College grounds, using what nature has day care near pakenham provided as learning materials.
At our Pakenham early learning centre, all meals are cooked fresh daily with no processed foods. We are highly allergen-aware and cater to all dietary requirements, including Halal, allergy management, and preferences for picky eaters. Our seasonal four-week rotating menu, planned according to Nutrition Australia guidelines, offers a variety of nutritious options for breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack. Thoughtfully designed with children in mind, our unique environments offer childcare that inspires and nurtures. Families consistently praise our service for our nurturing environment, dedicated staff, and high quality care. At Story House, we care about every person and their individual journey because it takes a committed, diverse and passionate team to nurture each child’s unique story.
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) helps eligible families access approved and registered child care providers, by partially subsidising the cost of daily fees. Please note, the prices below do not include any child care subsidy you may be entitled to. Visit the Department of Education website to find out more information. We also recommend using this Child Care Subsidy Calculator to generate an estimate of your new subsidy payments.
Even though we are built for fun, we haven’t forgotten about the serious stuff. That’s why we designed a special wristband tag system for the security of our young guests. Each child is fitted with a wristband upon entry to our gated centre and a corresponding ticket is given the their carer. Upon leaving, this ticket and wristband is checked by our friendly staff at the exit gate to ensure no child leaves without the correct adult.
We drive past many centres to get to this one however I would never change. As a full time working mother it’s hard to put your children in care full time however I never feel uneasy taking them to PICO. An example of how homely this centre is, my son refers to a staff member as “Nanny Annie”.Couldn’t recommend PICO enough. Kindergarten children can also take part in our library borrowing program, which encourages a love of reading to extend into their homes and their families. Our four-year-old children can even learn Spanish through Early Learning Languages Australia.
Our team comprises experienced educators who are equipped with the knowledge and training that enables them to provide the best care to your children. The team at Great Beginnings Pakenham go above and beyond for each family member. Each team member always puts the children’s needs first, embracing their individuality and providing quality care for all. We value safety and always ensure we follow practices that align with quality care and support our environments, families, educators, children, and communities.
You can access sessional programs at Chirnside Park and Pakenham (Hollins Children’s Centre), or integrated programs at our Croydon, Lilydale, Mt Evelyn and Yarra Junction centres. The Early Years Learning Framework has a strong emphasis on play-based learning. At Little Stars Pakenham, we recognize the importance of communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy) and social and emotional development. Every child’s journey is overseen by accredited, friendly, caring, and attentive educators. Our carers foster inclusivity and create a space where each child can learn, play, develop, and participate in a way that reflects their unique strengths and interests.
Our programs nurture a love of nature, a sense of community, fun, and wonder, while fostering respect for Country, culture, and connection. At Pakenham Springs Children’s Centre, we work in partnership with children and families, embracing the diversity of our community and creating a warm, inclusive environment for all. One Tree’s educational program aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
